The idea took shape in the back of my mind while I was climbing and cutting trees full-time. After years of dreaming up in the canopy, I climbed down and got to work.

The concept for Greater Detroit IT formed while I worked full-time climbing and cutting trees — years of dreaming before the first move.

Early 2024

I climbed down, and the first real ideas for Greater Detroit IT started to take shape.

Q4 2024

Greater Detroit IT & Network Specialists LLC was registered with the State of Michigan — and we've traded as Greater Detroit IT ever since.

Today

We've been proudly in business supporting the Greater Detroit area ever since.

My name is Aidan Reed, and I'm an IT professional here in Metro Detroit. I grew up in Toledo, Ohio, raised by one of the most inspiring tech fathers a kid could ask for.

I've been working with computers since I was six years old — nearly three decades of taking things apart, putting them back together, and working out why they broke in the first place. From the simple to the genuinely complex, I bring the knowledge and the critical-thinking skills to solve whatever issue you're facing.
